My name is Margaret and I live in Stirling in Central Scotland. I am 61 years old and never in a million years would I have thought I would have a website of my own…It just proves you are never too old to begin something new.

I have been married to a lovely man called Jim, (My husband and best friend) for nearly 42 years we were married on 14th October 1961

We have three handsome sons Alec (Alexander is 40 yrs old and is married to Kate) they have given us two beautiful grand daughters Kayleigh 14 in August and Rebecca she is 9 years old.

Jim (James) will be 38in August he is married to Alison and they have two handsome wee boys Martin is 10 and Ryan is 6

Then there is our youngest son Ross he was born 23 years ago Ross was born with Cerebral Palsy and was not expected to live. He is now 23 and went to college and has his HND in computing support. But has decided he wants to go into web design and is reading all he can and teaching himself HTML and Dreamweaver and is now my webmaster

I had never written any poems until Ross was born. The first poem I wrote was my son Ross and now I write down many of my thoughts and feelings in poetic form. I also make cards for my family and friends and I write verses for them so as to make them special.
